You should visit the 30th Anniversary of St Nicholas Fair, which will feature over 100 alpine chalets scattered throughout central York since 1992. To get everyone in the holiday spirit, there will be live entertainment in St Helen’s Square, Parliament Street, and Shambles Market. This fair is filled with local items and artisan products by local vendors.
After walking and shopping around the York christmas market, you can visit a traditional Swiss chalet, The Winter Hütte which is located on a terrace overlooking St Nicholas Fair and is the brand new fair for dining.
