Light Up: Best fireworks event on New Year’s Eve in Adelaide
Rymill Park / Murlawirrapurka will host the family-friendly New Year’s Eve event “Light Up” again in 2022!
Light Up, which takes place from 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., offers roving artists, live music, cuisine, and bars. There will be fireworks at 9.30 p.m. and again at midnight.
Tickets for the pre-8 pm time slot are sold out, but depending on the event capacity, non-ticketholders may be admitted after 8 pm throughout the evening.
New Year’s Eve at the Bay
The Bay, Glenelg, and Brighton Foreshores on New Year’s Eve. Fireworks at 9:30 pm (both venues) and midnight (Glenelg only). The free, kid-friendly festival also features live music, food and drink vendors, and kid’s entertainment.
The celebrations begin at 7 o’clock, and the Glenelg and Brighton jetties often host the early fireworks display. Only Glenelg Jetty hosts the main fireworks display at midnight.
2. Big Bash on December 31st
Adelaide residents have a habit of watching cricket on New Year’s Eve. At Adelaide Oval, the Adelaide Strikers and Sydney Thunder will square off in the encounter, which will begin at 7 o’clock.
