Redpath Museum


The Redpath Museum is genuinely a storeroom of curiosities. People say that it is a hidden gem in terms of natural science. Its location is on the downtown campus of McGill University.

This museum has dinosaur bones, ancient Egyptian mummies, a shrunken head, etc. And it’s totally free for people of all ages.

The Montreal Museum Of Fine Arts – Museums In Montreal


From 2013 to 2014, the MMFA was Canada’s most visited art museum. The art collection features more than 41,000 pieces. They mainly come from ancient Near and the Far East, and ancient Greece and Egypt.

The museum mainly displays contemporary art, highlighting Quebec artworks. The rest are from international artists. Their works will be shown in temporary exhibits and permanent collections.

The Montreal Biodome offers live exhibitions of fauna and flora across its 5 ecosystems. The museum also recreates the living conditions from the South Pole to a tropical forest of these ecosystems. 

Attracting well over 800,000 visitors a year, the Montreal Biodome proposes live exhibits of flora and fauna across its five ecosystems. This museum has more than 4,500 creatures from 250 distinct species and kinds of 500 flora. Especially, they are all aboriginal to the Americas. 

McCord Museum


This place has about 1 million items of Canadian history dating as far back as the 11th century. And it takes you only a quick stroll from the Redpath Museum to reach the McCord Museum.
