In Alberta, there are several trails to choose from, all of which provide breathtaking scenery and interesting monuments. However, as this Alberta waterfall demonstrates, you don’t even need to hike to experience some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the region.
Lethbridge, Calgary, and Pincher Creek can all be reached by car in a little more than an hour, 25 kilometers, and over two hours, respectively, from Lundbreck Falls.
Lundbreck Falls is worth a visit if you want to see the stunning scenery without taking a trip because the falls resemble a smaller version of Niagara Falls.
There is no need to hike in order to see the rushing Crowsnest River plunge 12 meters into the pool of crystal-clear blue water below at the stunning Lundbreck Falls.

After parking your car at the falls, you may immediately descend into the limestone canyon, where you’ll be so close to the falls that you’ll be able to feel the spray on your skin. For a different viewpoint, you can also make the short ascent to the falls observation deck.
You can cool yourself in the calmer waters of the river downstream from the falls after admiring the breathtaking view. There are many places to relax and take in the scenery, and you can even set up a picnic with the roaring waterfall in the background.
For those in southern Alberta, a day excursion to Lundbreck Falls is ideal. If you’re driving to Waterton Lakes National Park, it’s also a terrific destination to include on your schedule.
