Breathtaking Australian Landscape Photos Proof This Country Is The Best

Australian landscape photos will not make you disappointed! You can’t find anywhere as beautiful as Australia!

Australia is a country that is as diverse as it is the most beautiful places, from the ochre-red outback around Uluru and the frosty summit of Cradle Mountain to the Whitsunday Islands’ white sand and Western Australia’s pink lakes. Here are the top 20 photos of the most attractive places in Australia.

This beautiful one-of-a-kind place in Australia is made up of limestone formations that appear to reach for the sky. It is known as the Pinnacles of Australia and is located in Nambung National Park near Cervantes, Western Australia.

This active lighthouse is also known as South Head Lower Light or South Head Signal Station. It was built in 1858 in response to public demand following the tragic shipwrecks of the Dunbar and Catherine Adamson. Its distinctive red and white candy-striped coloring distinguishes it as one of the most beautiful places in Australia.

3. The Kuranda Scenic Railway to Stoney Creek Falls

This train passes by not one but two beautiful waterfalls, as well as a plethora of other breathtaking scenery. We included it in our list of the Top 10 Things to Do in Cairns and highly recommend it if you’re visiting Far North Queensland. Check out our review of the experience here: Riding the Rainforest Waterfall Train at Kuranda Scenic Railway.

The Cairns Lagoon is our favorite place because it creates the illusion of little origami fish swimming in the sky. This is one of the best pictures from the trip to Cairns because it feels like a dream.

6. Crab Creek in Broome – Australian landscape photos

From a photograph alone, you’d think it’s a fabricated place of fantasy as one of the Australian landscape photos’ most magical. But, thanks to the wonders of nature, this place exists, and you can find it at Crab Creek in Broome, where the red dirt meets the ocean.

7. Sunset over Sydney Harbour Bay

Nothing can compare to the beauty of the ocean, so the harbor will always be an ideal destination. When you watch the ships arrive, their sails will resemble dragon wings. As a result, we refer to all boats as “swimming dragons.” and “dragons who can’t fly.”

8. Winds Valley in Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park

Uluru (Ayers Rock) is mentioned in almost every top 10 Australian landscape photo article I’ve ever read. But no one ever mentions the equally beautiful Valley of the Winds and the stunning wildflowers that grow there. They’re both in the same park, so why is one so unknown? The latter requires a bit of a hike, so some people simply do not enjoy walking. So, depending on your fitness level, you can do as much or as little trekking as you want.

9. Bar Rock Lookout in Narooma – Australian landscape photos

Every weekend, Balloon Aloft conducts flights over Sydney’s historic Macarthur region, including Camden Valley.

11. 12 Apostles on Great Ocean Road

The Great Ocean Road

The Great Ocean Road is at the top of everyone’s must-see list in Australian landscape photos for a good reason: it’s breathtakingly beautiful. After wave erosion carved out the cliff, the Twelve Apostles’ limestone stacks took on their iconic shape.

12. Australian landscape photos: The Best Pink Lakes

You’ve probably heard of Lake Hillier because it was made famous by social media about a year ago, but few people realize that Australia has many pink lakes. Spencer Lake is sometimes referred to simply as the Pink Lake. It’s best seen on a boat tour or scenic flight, both of which can be booked in (and depart from) Esperance.

For the brightest bubblegum pink color, stick with Lake Hillier, as Pink Lake has begun to fade due to salt mining over the last year. Pink Lake is still your best bet for pale pink (or recently white-colored) water.

13. Sunset in Port Willunga Jetty Ruins

These brightly colored huts lining the beach are Victorian-era bathing boxes. They are over a century old and originally provided a place for bathers to maintain morality while changing clothing in privacy.

But today, residents can purchase an annual license for personal use—primarily as a deck or lounge area—while relaxing on the beach.
