This is the moment when two lions were interrupted by a white rhinoceros charging at them while they tried to mate in the South African sunset.
As the bull rhino approaches, the lions quickly jump up off the ground and run away, keeping their eyes locked on him.
When the male takes a brief look away to glance at his mate, the rhino charges towards him, causing the lion to back away and the lioness to scarper a few metres back.
The footage shows the rhino then putting his head down and running towards the female.
He then turns his attention back to the male and runs towards him and the lion makes a last-second dash to avoid being mauled.
The rhino gazes at the two lions before trotting out of the camera’s range, back the way he came, allowing the lions to carry on where they left off.
