6. Falls Festival: Energetic music festival in Melbourne for this summer

In Australia, there is no better way to bring in the new year than by having a good time at Falls Festival. The music and arts festival, which has been going strong for almost 30 years, is one of the most eagerly anticipated events on the festival calendar. In 2022, it will give up its current regional venue in favor of a massive three-day event at Sidney Myer Music Bowl and nearby venues on December 29, 30, and 31.
Besides, partygoers will ring in 2023 at Falls Festival this year with a stellar roster that includes Arctic Monkeys, Lil Nas X, Penny Gou, Chvrches, and Jamie XX. Following headlining slots at Reading & Leeds festivals, Arctic Monkeys will travel to Australia, and Lil Nas X, fresh off the success of his 4x Platinum album Montero, will perform at Falls for the first time.
7. So Frenchy So Chic

Calling all Francophiles: you’re invited to this yearly summer party. It will be celebrating its 12th anniversary next year and will feature French food, wine, and music. On January 15, 2023, go to Werribee Mansion to enjoy French cheeses, a glass of Champagne, and a wide lineup of French artists while dancing the day away.
Besides, some of Melbourne’s finest French establishments, including Frederic Bistro, fromagerie Milk the Cow, and L’Hôtel Gitan, will offer the meals this year. In March 2023, Golden Plains will return to Victoria for another stellar lineup of musical artists, all situated amidst the best that nature has to offer.
The sparkling Supernatural Amphitheatre in Meredith, a little township about an hour outside Melbourne, hosts the sibling festival of the adored Meredith Music Festival in December.
The lineup for 2023 has not yet been revealed, but past lineups have featured a savory mix of well-known headliners, under-the-radar performers, and local groups. The Golden Plains festival will also occur from March 11–13, 2023.
9. Port Fairy Folk Festival: Unmissable music festival in Melbourne

The annual Port Fairy Folk Festival is returning in 2023 in a big way following the event’s popularity last year. Port Fairy invites fans of folk and country to visit and take in the festival at its full intensity and scale once more throughout the weekend of March 10–13.
The second wave of tickets for this sea breeze event has just gone on sale, and the first round has already sold out.
