In cute photos taken in Sri Lanka, a young elephant climbs on top of its friend for a jumbo-sized piggyback ride.
The picture was taken at Kalawewa National Park in central Sri Lanka. The elephant was seen climbing onto its bigger friend and giving what looked like a cheeky smile.
Pathum Bandara, a photographer, said, “Baby elephants are very playful, and while I was watching over 200 elephants, I saw these two playing.”
As he rested on another elephant, the little one looked like he was trying to get a free ride. As he looked at me, he looked like he was up to something.
Mr. Bandara, who is 34 years old, said, “I’m proud to have taken this picture because I was able to get a shot that is so clear and looks straight at them.”
