The Netherlands Ranks As Fifth Of The Happiest Countries In The World 2022

The World Happiness Report, which ranks 146 nations based on how happy their residents believe they are, will publish its tenth annual edition in 2022. This year’s conference, which studies the long-term effects of the coronavirus pandemic on general well-being and mental health using data from 2019, 2020, and 2021, has the theme “Happiness, benevolence, and trust during COVID-19 and beyond.”

The rating was created using information from the Gallup World Poll, in which participants were asked to rate their own level of happiness on a scale of one to ten. Then, each nation included in the ranking is given an overall average score out of 10, which is then compared to the standard established by the fictional nation of Dystopia, which is home to the world’s unhappiest citizens.

Finland takes the top rank in 2022 for the fifth consecutive year, scoring much higher than the other top 10 nations. Denmark, Iceland, Switzerland, and the Netherlands naturally complete the top five.
