Bai Dai in Rim National Park is undoubtedly Tofino’s most spectacular beach. This 16-kilometer Canadian beach is a surfer’s heaven, with never-ending Pacific Ocean waves. The water is 8°F in winter and 12°F in summer.

Bai Dai attracts surfers owing to its size and structure; the numerous places are good for beginners. Shallow waters and sandy beaches attract new surfers. This beach is great for hiking because the sand is rough and easy to walk. You can even push a stroller or walk a dog comfortably.

Grand Beach is known for its gorgeous sand dunes and mild shallow water. Grand Beach is an hour outside Winnipeg on one of the province’s best lakes. Back on the beach’s wooden boardwalk are various food and drink franchises.

Soft, golden sand surrounds the beach, where you may create sandcastles with your youngsters. The shallow water is great for playing soccer, touch or Frisbee.

Kitsilano, arguably Canada’s best urban beach, is surrounded by chic cafes and a park. Also known as Kit’s beach, this wide arc of sand fronts English Bay and offers beautiful views of the North Shore Mountains. If you don’t like chilly water, try Kitsilano Pool, a 137-meter-high saltwater pool near the ocean’s edge.

This Canadian beach offers a water park and picnic area. The park has a leash-free dog park, so bring your pooch.

Brackley, PEI

PEI National Park’s Brackley Beach is 20 minutes from Charlottetown. The reserve runs from Port Rustico to Brackley and west to Stanhope and Dalvay. The most popular beach is Brackley Beach.

The late 19th-century beach region became a popular holiday location, and its shoreline was declared a national park in 1937. Bordering Canada’s Prince Edward Island National Park, its sand dunes, sandstone cliffs, marshes, and woodlands make it one of Canada’s top beaches.

Wasaga Beach

Wasaga Beach is one of Canada’s top beaches, attracting 2 million visitors annually. Wasaga is the longest freshwater beach in the world. Georgian Bay’s beach is split for easy access.

Sections 1 and 2 in town have volleyball courts and boardwalks. Sections 3 through 6 are more tranquil, so you can read there. Section 3 is a great place to swim and run with your dog.

Ontario’s Sauble Beach

Sauble Beach is historic. In the 1960s and 1970s, people drove their cars to this Ontario beach. Sauble Beach is the second-longest freshwater beach in Canada after Wasaga Beach. Sand on Lake Huron’s shoreline makes Sauble’s water shallow and mild.

You can swim, windsurf, water ski, fish, golf, lawn bowl, tennis, street dance, beach volleyball, ski, and cross-country run here. Beach volleyball championships have been held here.

Okanagan and Skaha Beach, BC – Canada’s most beautiful beaches

Okanagan Beach in Penticton has long attracted families. Warm summer waves, shallow water, and smooth sand make this Canadian beach perfect for kids. A short walk from the shore lies the Landing Landing Adventure Park with go-karts, rope courses, and rock climbing.

Penticton also has Skaha Beach. Surrounded by woods and parkland, the beach is the perfect summer retreat. The shallow, mild waves are surrounded by crystal blue water and smooth golden sand.
